Terraria: Open World Survival

Terraria is an open world survival game where you try to build a house and survive the night by building cool weapons and armor.  Terraria gets harder and harder the more bosses you defeat, and when you defeat the "final boss," you enter "hard mode," where everything becomes stronger and new enemies are added, which have different abilities and are stronger than normal enemies.  This game is $9.99 on Steam or the Xbox Live Store and has over 300 different things to make, and since it's a sandbox game, you can build anything you want.  Many of the things that you can build will interact with the world, and change your world to whatever you like.  Terraria is a lot of fun and is on PC and Xbox 360 and Xbox One (I think).

I have over 10 hours put into this game, and has multiplayer where you can setup your own servers and play with friends and I have had a lot of with the multiplayer, and on my opinion, playing with friends is more fun than playing alone, even though playing alone is fun.  There is a lot of ways to play with friends, you can fight them and have an arena type thing, or you can just try to survive the environment, or even just build huge cities or castles with your friends.

I have had a lot of fun with Terraria and have learned that it's definitely worth the $9.99.  Some of the developers of this game went on to make the game Starbound, and it's just as good as Terraria, if not better.  My favorite part of Terraria is creating a higher tier weapon, tool, or armor, because it's a lot of fun seeing how the new item is better than your old item and how much more useful it is, whether it's a gold pickaxe from a bronze pickaxe, or creating a drill when all you have been using is a pickaxe.

Thanks for Reading!
