Planetary Annihilation: Real Time Strategy on a Massive Scale

Planetary Annihilation, or PA, is a Realtime Strategy that occurs in a solar system, where you can go to any planet and set up a base there.  You can fire planets at your enemies, or just overwhelm your enemies with masses of robots.  Planetary Annihilation features a system where you can travel in between planets and fire weapons from one planet to another.  You can also have battles in the orbit of a planet with fighter craft and stationary weapons platforms.  There is also an epic naval combat system where you can have long ranged missile ships or medium range attack ships.  All of the units in this game are different in their own way.  There are over 50 different types of units at least, and the fact that every battlefield is different, the possibilities are endless of where you can fight.  With an infinite amount of fights to be had, there are many different ways to play, ranging from being very defensive to going on full attack mode and obliterating the enemy before they can build up an army.  You can fight against real people or AI's that the game has created for single player battles.  I have to say though, the AI is very hard to defeat, especially of harder difficulties.  You can also fight against real people, and then there is a lot of things that you can't predict when fighting against real people.  There are some tournaments for this game that go on every now and then, but they aren't that frequent.  There is also a lot of activity over on a website called Twitch, where people can live stream video games for free.

There are many different was to play this game, and each has it's own advantage and disadvantage.  You can buy this game on Steam of on Uber Entertainment's website, for $29.99.  I personally have put over 20 hours into this game and have had fun almost all of the time, but there are matches that you either don't do well or just don't have fun.  But overall, the game is very fun and deserves a lot more attention then it gets currently.

Thanks for Reading!
