Smite: Massive Online Battle Arena Where You Fight As Gods

Smite is a MOBA, or a Massive Online Battle Arena, where you fight against gods, as gods, and you have to buy items and kill enemies to get money, or gold to buy items to get ahead of the enemy team.  There are over 20 gods in the game and each of them is different in their own way, ranging from quick ranged gods, known as Hunters, to slow, strong gods that can absorb damage, known as Guardians.  There are also Mages, Assassins, and various other types of gods.

Smite is free, but you can pay for items with real money.  You can get Smite on their website.  Smite is very fun and can be played alone or with friends, although you will almost always be playing with real people.  There are tournaments for Smite that can offer the winning team sometimes over a million dollars, but I think thats just one tournament.  A lot of the gods have interesting and different abilities, so you can play any god and have it be a different experience than any of the other gods.

Many if the things to do in Smite are based around teamwork and communicating with your team, and that's why it's fun to play with friends because you do better because you have better communication than the other team and you can tell your friends to be careful when you think that they are going to get ambushed.  Like a lot of other MOBAs, you have to be very strategic about when and where you are going to ambush the enemy team, and how you are going to precede with the plan that you made up.

I personally enjoy other MOBAs more than Smite, but Smite is still a lot of fun when you can play with friends and feel like playing a third person shooter version of a MOBA, and it also has it's ups and downs, like every game, and in Smite's case, I feel it has more ups than downs, but I personally prefer other MOBAs, like League of Legends.

Thanks for Reading!
