DAYZ Open world Survival Horror

DayZ is a fun game

And by fun I mean scary

The constant hoarding of precious materials

Such as water, food, ammo and clothes

This game is about a post apocalyptic

With zombies

But it's very old

As in 2009

I'm not old

Yeah

There are a lot of people that do videos on Youtube

There is a lot of walking involved until you find a car, truck or helicopter

There are also planes

But I can't fly things

Because I'm bad at flying things

 But yeah

Flying is fun

This is the standalone version of the game

There is also a mod version

Which is 100 times better

But it's not an indie game

It's an indie mod

Yeah

So

Yeah

My friends and I played the DayZ mod for a long time and we had a lot of fun

We would go and explore and find all of these cool weapons and places

You can set up bases, from which you can operate from and have your friends operate from as well

You can create landing pads and have your helicopters land on them and store them for later

The zombies in the game can be scary, if you're not prepared

Also you can run into other players, and you can either trust them or kill them on sight

But be warned, if they don't trust you, they might kill you on sight, as well

Most of the servers can have up to 64 people on them, but even with a full server, you will rarely see anyone

When I was playing it, I saw about 10 - 15 people in over 20 hours, and besides that I only saw my friends and zombies

Only once have I ever encountered someone and had an exchange with them, and that was at one of my friend's house

One memory that I have when my friends were playing together was when one of my friends had gotten shot when in a helicopter

He had died from the shot, and my other friend (there were 3 of us) and I had to fly to the next town over to pick him up again

While we were hovering there, there were gunshots that ricocheted off of the helicopter that I was in

We had to fly away with my friend because the town he was it was the home to a massive bandit clan

We ended up picking him up outside of the town and we all flew away into the sunset

But it was daytime

So yeah

Another memory I have was of when my friend and I were waiting for my other friend in a pure white SUV

We were in a hidden little grove in the middle of the wood

And it was nighttime

It looked very scary and like a place out of a horror movie

And that what I decided to make my friend very scared by making scary sounds

While we were sitting in the middle of a pitch black forest in a pure white SUV that even a blind man could see

It ended up scaring him quite a bit, and he ended up leaving the game because of that

In the end, we all met and drove off into the sunset in the middle of the night

I personally love DayZ, and I recommend this game, but I would recommend getting the mod version

The standalone is not even closed to finished yet
